The main function of TDRO is to provide a comprehensive mechanism for swift resolution of trade disputes arising out of export and import of goods and services including export and import through e-commerce. In this regard various instruments including negotiations, mediation, arbitration, determination and referral to commercial benches would be utilized. Cooperation and assistance from the relevant government bodies as well practices consistent with international standards are adopted. TDRO also holds supervisory as well enforcement jurisdiction.
